Our Founder, Deepak Ruparell
At the age of 21, Deepak started running his first motel in Lethbridge, Alberta. He quickly learned that the hospitality business comes down to two basic principles: take care of your people and take care of your guests.
“Our people can drive our destiny. I think it’s this type of culture that can be embraced by everybody. Where you can have your team members connect with the guest, connect with the local community, connect with other team members, and connect with the brand or individual personality of the hotel. When you do that – that becomes a differentiator. We have to treat each other like family.”
This simple ethos guided Deepak into becoming one of Canada’s leading private hoteliers and set the foundation for Silver Hotel Group.
